About Us

The Alpine Fire District was formed in 1994. 

AFD is a combination fire district in the southwest portion of Apache County and serving the communities of Alpine & Nutrioso, Arizona. 

AFD currently has 6 full time personnel and 16 reserve personnel.

Services provided include Fire, ALS/BLS EMS, TRT, SAR, HAZ-MAT. 

Alpine Fire District's area of response encompasses 1680 square miles and crosses into portions of northern Greenlee County. 

The Alpine Fire District strives to provide the best service we can, as safely as we can, and with the best possible outcome.
