Alpine Fire District ISO Class 4.

Alpine Fire District completed an ISO review in 2021 and was able to provide a respectable ISO Classification Rating of 4. This rating is for both Alpine and Nutrioso residents that are within 5 miles of either fire station. Unfortunately, the residents outside of the 5 miles will be classified at a 10 rating. The class 10 is a direct reflection of water supply issues to these areas. As we move into the future growth in our area we hope to see some positive improvements to our available water supply and can lower this classification over time.

AFD encourages all homeowners within the fire district to contact their insurance providers and update this very important information.  If needed AFD will provide each individual property owner with a verification letter to help support this new classification.
