Alpine Fire District Lock Box Program.

The Alpine Fire District is proud to announce the  implementation of our Residential/Commercial Lock Box  Program.

The goal of this program is to assist Firefighters and  EMS in gaining rapid entry into your home/business in the  event of an emergency, saving time and property by  eliminating the need for forced entry.

A residential/commercial lock box is a heavy, metal, safe-like  box that is mounted on the door jamb of your  home/business.

A key to your house/business is secured inside  the box and access to the box can only be obtained by the  Alpine Fire District. In the event of an emergency in which  you are unable to open the door for First Responders, the fire department can use the pre-set combination to open the lock  box and access your house/business key to gain entry into  your home/business. Having a lock box can add lifesaving  minutes during an emergency and can save property damage  that forcibly gaining entry can cause.

If you are the owner of a home/business in the Alpine Fire District area of response, you may purchase a  lock box for a one time fee of $35.00.

Alpine Fire District personnel will schedule an appointment to come  to your home/business and install the box for you.

Registration forms are available at the Alpine Fire  District station complete the registration form on the opposite side of this notice and mail it along with your  check, or, visit our web site at alpinefire.net to view and print the form.
